Description

6 unsexed, juvenile, liberty mollies. The fish pictured is taken from the same clutch of fry you will receive. The fish you are bidding on are approximately 5 weeks old and measure 1/2" - 3/4". I was not able to photograph the parents. They don't stop moving long enough for a photo and efforts to photo them in a container were not successful. They thrash about and lose their color almost immediately Photos you will find on-line are pretty representative of the parent fish. Adult males develop an orange red dorsal and caudal fin. Females stay silvery gray. They top out at around 3" or so and are non-stop swimmers. Males spar for females. Females produce about a dozen fry every 30 days or so. Fry are large and fast growing. The large adult fish seem to ignore the fry. I haven't found them to be aggressive toward other fish either. I keep mine at about 76 degrees. They are hearty, non-fussy eaters. If your impressions of mollies generally are weak, sickly, store bought fish liberty mollies will change that. Shipping is $20, non-refundable, on top of the winning bid.
