Description

2 young pairs of doadrioi San Marcos. These are a small to medium sized goodeid. Males are colorful. I colony breed mine in hard Lake Erie tap water at room temp(65-70 degrees depending on the season). The tank is bare with a mat of live hornwort floating on the surface. Adults and juveniles do not harm the fry which are born pretty large. Females routinely drop small clutches of large fry about every 60 days. They are long lived. I have 2-3 year old fish in my colony that still produce fry. I feed mine Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, chopped frozen bloodworms and the occasional squirt of live baby brine shrimp. I change 50%-75% of the water weekly. This is a nice healthy strain which rarely produces deformed fry. Shipping is $15 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. It includes an insulated box and necessary heat pack(s) to get your fish to you in excellent condition. This auction will ship Saturday 12/21 so payment is due at the close of auction Friday 12/20.
