Description

The Golden Skiffia Skiffia francesae is a beautiful and entertaining small goodeid native to Western Mexico. It is believed to be extinct in the wild, and now likely only exists in aquaria. Adults reach a little over 2 inches in length and eagerly accept a variety of foods including flakes and frozen foods. Their diet should include a vegetable component. I feed spirulina flakes and thawed shelled peas. Females give birth to groups of 10 to 20 fairly large fry. Adults typically do not eat their offspring. Fry are easy to rear on crushed flake foods and can usually be left with their parents. In this auction you will receive 3 pair (3M,3F) at about 1.5 inches in length.
