The Northern Twin Spot Livebearer Pseudoxiphophorus jonesi (Aspac, Aqua Zarca - Calnali, HGO) is an impressive livebearer native to Mexico. Females of the species reach over 4 inches while males rarely top 2 inches. Both sexes can be somewhat territorial and require a fair amount of tank space to be comfortable. Females can give birth to large groups of fry (30+), but they are greedy fry eaters. Pregnant females should be placed in a separate tank or breeder net before giving birth if you want to save the fry. The fry can be fed crushed flakes and artemia nauplii right away. This species does well in hard water. In this auction you will receive a group of 8 unsexed juveniles at .75 1 inch in length. Like all of our fish, they are tank raised here in Southern Ohio, active and healthy. Shipping via USPS Priority mail is $18. Live arrival guaranteed. Thanks for looking!
