Description

10 juvenile spotted green swordtails. These fish are about 1/2" long and very spotty. Adults are pictured. I acquired my original trio through Pete Mang. These were introduced to the Western NY area by Pete a number of years ago and there are still some hobbyists maintaining them locally. They are a big chunky swordtail and very healthy. Females get 4" or more. I would say that as adults they are somewhat aggressive even to fish larger than themselves. Two adult males in the same tank also doesn't seem to work very well. I had success with one male to several females in a 38 gallon. Adult fish drop large batches of fry. Over 100. A couple local swordtail hobbyists were crossing them to their other lines of swords to add the spots and vigor. I did see some very nice spotted red swords that a local hobbyist developed using this line. Shipping is $15(non-refundable) on top of the winning bid. These fish will ship Monday 7/9/18. Payment(via Paypal only) is requested Saturday 7/7/18. If payment is not received as requested, I will relist the auction. Thanks for looking.
