Description

Big Poecilia Velifera Pair + 2 Juveniles

BEFORE BIDDING OR MESSAGING WITHQUESTIONS:Please read all the information in all 3 panels of this ad(Details, Shipping, Payment). Placing a bid or clicking Buy-It-Nowmeans that you agree to all the terms stated here.

*Customer loyalty discount: if you have ordered from me before, I'll take 15% off the price for thisand any other items you combine for your order. Doesn't apply to shipping.

This is P. velivera, also known as the Giant Molly and the Yucatan Molly. Very rarely do you ever see these offered as fully grown adults. The specieslooks similar to P. latipinna but can grow considerably larger (up to 5"), and also has a different face and it's body coloring is more true silver with blue/violet iridescence. The first 4 photos show males and the last two photos are females. Like latipinna, these beautiful giants do not eat their fry and benefit from a diet that includes dry feed with some plant ingredients like kelp or spirulina, though they also love baby brine shrimp. They can live in water with zero to moderate salt, and do best in a pH slightly above neutral. These would be okay in a 20 gallon but 30 or more would be ideal.

For the winning bidder:

One big male around 4 inches, one female at least 3 inches (prehit but not close to dropping), also two unsexed juveniles between 1-3 inches. No substitutions or additions, sorry.

I ship on Saturdays for the fastest, safestdelivery to you. Mail DOES move on Sundays, in fact faster than weekdays. Almost allof my Saturday shipments have reached their destinationson MONDAY, even across the country and to rural addresses.

About requests to delay shipping: Message me to ask BEFORE BIDDING. If you bid, then ask, the answer will be 'no.'

I do not write anything on the box because it causes more trouble than it prevents (I have postal horror stories but you can find plenty via Google). If you insist on having 'Live Fish,' 'Fragile' or whatever written on the box, okay, but it will void the Live Arrival Guarantee.

Shipping cost: $16Priority mail 2-3 day

Please read LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEEcarefully before bidding:

1. If thebox arrives to you in 3 days or less (normal shipping time) and there is a DOA, that fish is fully refundable, if you notify me like it says in #3 (below).

2. If the box is delayed by USPS,arrivesin 4 or more days andany fish isdead, we will split our mutualloss (I will refund you halfwhat you paid for the fish), and you must notify me like it says in #3 (below).

3. Regardless of the number of days in transit, no refund amount will be issued for DOA unless you send me an email within two hours of the 'Delivered' scan, and the email must have at least two clear photos showing the deadfish still in the shipping bag(s). No exceptions. So watch for that mail truck, get your box indoors and check it immediately. A hot or cold porch can bedeadly to aquaticorganisms, even with excellent packing.

EASY PEASY: I will emailyou an official invoice and you can pay via debit, credit or Paypal. Make sure to enter theaddress where you want your package sent. I print shipping labels directly from paid invoices, not from Aquabid or email.

As with shipping delay requests, same goes for payment delays. Message me BEFORE BIDDING, not after, if you think you would be unable to pay immediately upon receiving the invoice. It's not about getting your money in my hands, it's about getting faith that I can go ahead and fast your fish for shipping, buyyourshipping labeland pack your boxaccording to plan. If you read this whole ad and win the auction, pay fast and write "I read the whole ad" in your email, and I'll throw in some cool surprise, free.
