This auction is for 6 Xenotoca melanosoma - Black Tailed Goodeid. I almost always include some extras. I make sure to send a good number of males and females and I make sure the fish are healthy. They are around an inch and a half. They are very rare and possibly extinct in the wild. This location is the true melanosoma. These guys have collection/location information and GPS cordinates. Livebearer Strain Maintenance Record: Xenotoca melanosoma Fitzsimons 1972 Collection Data Locationsite and waterway: Achacales, Rio Ayuquila Locationpolitical: Municipio El Grullo, Jalisco, MEXICO LocationGPS: N 1942'14.7" W 10408'39.8" Collection date:18-I-2008 Collector:Devin Biggs Comments: 5 individuals collected. I got them directly from the collector. They are a fun and cool fish. Very hardy but can be fairly aggressive, especially during mating. They will eat their own fry. I would suggest at least a 3ft tank to keep a colony of them. They will gladly eat all foods. Buyer pays for shipping. There will be a charge of $1.50 per sale. This charge will cover shipping supplies, which will get the fish safely to you. There will be no refunds for shipping cost and shipping supply charge. I offer Live arrival guarantee for UPS Overnight, UPS 2nd day, and USPS Express only. I don't offer Live Arrival guarantee for Speedee 2-3 day service,USPS Priority,or UPS Ground 2-3 day services. However, they normally do great. I have changed some of my policies, please visit my "Just Me" page. I will ship UPS, USPS, and Speedee (depending on location). I will ship on the following Monday-Tuesday after payment. It is recommended to get a shipping price quote before bidding. I will only accept Pay-Pal, Postal Money Order, and Certified Bank Checks. Please e-mail me at Falcon034@aol.com for shipping price quote and for any questions. Thanks! Chris Picture of melanosoma juvies for sale and adult melanosoma for reference only, not for sale.
