Hello Folks! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!I am NOT closing any auctions Thanksgiving week because I have no way of shipping around the Thursday Holiday but I am posting auctions to close the following week so make sure to keep checking on what I have ready to go! I have KILLER NEW TUNES TOO! I AM going to have to shut down for BOTH holiday weeks in December too so NOW is the time to win a Box-o-Stuff! This is a nice little auction for 3 Pr's. of Red Picta, Micropoecilia picta along with 2 Pr's of Heterandria formosa also sometimes referred to as "Least Killifish"! This is a VERY NICE strain of Red Picta and Conrad and I have been messing around with these fish for quite a few years now. The Heterandria formosa are NOT Killifish, they are neat little SMALL livebearers native to the South Eastern USA. In fact, last I heard they were the 7th smallest fish in the World. Another cool thing regarding them is the Females ONLY drop 2 or 3 fry a day for a couple weeks at a time compared to the way most female livebearers drop all their fry at once and they are very good parents and almost never eat their own fry. These Red Picta are just beautiful! You can keep both strains in the same tank and another cool thing you will notice is all the Picta fry will hide near the TOP of your tank while ALL the Heterandria formosa fry will tend to hide right near the bottom of your tank! Get these while you can, we always have very limited amounts of these rare little guys! All 5 Pr's. are young but up to breeding size, are showing good color and all 5 females are already pre-hit and already dropping fry. They will give you lots of fry for years to come. These Red Picta come from Ol' Conrad's fish room and I have gotten nothing but compliments on them from everybody I have sent them to! Both these species like calm planted tanks. If you decide to keep them together they will NOT crossbreed on you. You could put these fish in as small a tank as a 5 1/2 and they will do quite well in a smaller set up like that. I will also include some high quality foods that they and their fry will aggressively eat AND some healthy Java Moss, and Hornwort with this offering!
