Starter Colony - 10 Girardinus metallicus - The Black Chinned Livebearer Auction is for a mix of 10 Girardinus metallicus, a good mix of male a female young adults. Your fish will be selected from the colony in the video below. Girardinus metallicus are small wild type livebearers growing to about 1.5 inches. They are peaceful and tolerate many of the fry to make a good species/colony setup. I am a hobbyist and these fish are raised in my fishroom. Shipping Policies Below Video. What will you receive in the Mail Beautiful healthy fish in Flat Rate Priority Box properly sized for the fish you have purchased. The box will be styrofoam lined heat pack/packs if needed. I will use breather bags if appropriate for the type of fish being sent. If breather bags are inappropriate (ie. fish with spines or teeth), the fish will be double bagged in poly bags.
