Description

Jenynsia lineata- Arroyo India Moreto, Uruguay- 2 pair. This is an elegant, rarely seen fish, F2s from the wild. Sometimes called the �one-sided livebearer� for a belief that individual males and females can only mate from one direction, it is rarely seen but highly desired at Livebearer conventions, and does well with frequent feedings and good water quality. Not picky about temperature, this fish does well here at 72-78 degrees, and when well fed, the large young are rarely bothered and can be removed easily and raised up separately. They produce about 10 young approximately every 6-8 weeks, and will school together. Not shy, they are a peaceful community fish, and will stay out in front in the tank, but do appreciate some plants to swim within.
