Description

Zoogoneticus tequila- 2 pair. This is one of the rarest fish kept in the hobby, thought for over 40 years to be extinct in the wild, now known to be critically endangered. A very hardy goodeid, the males have a bright orange/yellow stripe in the tail. When in breeding color the male turns charcoal black, with that bright stripe in the tail as he courts the females. This can be seen in the video on the Z. tequila page at selectaquatics.com. They will have from 10-15 young approximately every 60 days, and it is best to remove the female to have her young separately. Styrofoam box Shipment for a single order within the continental U.S. is $16 for 3-5 day Priority Mail and $35 for overnight Express Mail delivery. Heat pack, if needed is $2. Shipping to Canada will vary. Extras are sent with every order to cover any that may be lost in shipment, though losses are rare.
