Description

Xiphophorus mayae, 6 young unsexed fish. This peaceful, majestic species is the largest bodied swordtail in the world. As young fry you can feed them heavily and raise them to their full potential. I have had this line, originally from England, for about 6 years. With a tank of at least 29 gallons and plenty of live food they will surpass 5.5 inches. They are also a very beautiful fish with bright red stripes along their sides. Females will drop from 10 to 50 fry (possibly more), depending on her size. Styrofoam box Shipment for a single order within the continental U.S. is $16 for 3-5 day Priority Mail and $35 for overnight Express Mail delivery. Heat pack, if needed is $2. Shipping to Canada will vary. Extras are sent with every order to cover any that may be lost in shipment, though losses are rare.
