Description

Illyodon whitei is a wonderful, somewhat trout like, larger goodeid species native to Mexico. Adults reach about 4 inches in length. They are active , robust and easy to keep and breed. Babies can typically be left with the parents. Easy to feed. They readily accept a variety of flake and frozen foods. Their diet should include a vegetable component. I give them spirulina flakes and thawed shelled peas. They also seem to enjoy grazing on hair algae. The collection location for this line is Rio Huamita. In this auction, you will receive 8 young fish at 1- 1.5inches in length. I will send a mix of males and females. Like all of our fish, these guys are tank raised here and healthy. Shipping via USPS Priority mail will be $15. Express shipping will run $35-$45 depending on location . Live arrival is guaranteed with express mail only, but these guys tend to ship pretty well.
