Description

Up for auction are three species of wild type livebearers that can be kept in the same tank.

You will be getting one confirmed pair and three unsexed juvies of each species. That's a total of 15 fish, 5 of each kind. Note that if I can sex the juvies at the time of shipping I will try to make the total ratio two males and three females for each species. No guarantees though, other than you will get at least one young breeding pair to go with the juvies.

Here is what your getting:

A young pair and three young Skiffia Bilineata. These are a neat Goodeid from the Pacific Slope of Mexico. They are listed as critically endangered in the wild. The males develop black fins. The male you are getting is pictured below and is starting to show some black in his fins.

A young pair and three young Xiphophorus couchianus, also known as the Monterrey Platy. Considered by most to be extinct in the wild this Platy is very different than its colorful aquarium brothers. It is greyish with black markings. The pictures below are of an advanced age breeder. You will be getting a young breeding pair as well as three juvies.

Finally, a young pair and three juvies of Heterandria elegans, also known as the Tiger Teddy. Many know its cousin, Heterandria Formosa, which can be found here in the southeast United States. The Elegans, is found in Columbia. It is very small and acts much like the Formosa.

Shipping is FREE and I guarantee that they will arrive alive, because you deserve to get what you pay for. I ship on Mondays, Tuesdays and very occasionally Wednesdays. I use Priority Mail with styrofoam, breather bags and heat packs. I you live real close and ground is one day, I will likely ship that way to get them to you faster.

I do not ship internationally. I have shipped to Hawaii, but buyer will have to provide all the necessary paperwork/import permits/etc. Please contact me before bidding from HI as buyer will pay actual cost to ship to HI.

If payment is received before the Monday following the close of auction, your fish will be shipping that Monday or Tuesday unless you tell me otherwise.

These fish are not difficult to care for. Mine live in Maryland tap water (pH 7.2ish) and are fed a variety of live and dry foods. Temps are seasonal and range from 70 to 80 throughout the year. All my fish are born and raised in my tanks. I do not import my fish for re-sale.

I prefer Paypal (credit cards ok) but I will accept money orders as well. I will email you my paypal address after the auction.

Thank you for viewing my auction, I will do everything in my power to make sure its a good one for you and me
