Description

Up for auction are three young pairs of Characodon audax - The Black Prince Goodeid. These are young fish that are sexable but have not yet reached breeding age and are not fully colored up. They are about 5 weeks old.

The fish for auction are pictured in the slide show below under the picture title C Audax Juvies. The adult parents are also pictured but they are not included in the auction.

These Goodeids are from the El Toboso region of Mexico. They are endangered and some say on the brink of extinction (in the wild). My stock came from two different sources. I received my original breeding colony from David Macallister in the UK and Billy Dominguez in New Mexico.

All Characodons, including the Black Prince from El Toboso are featured in the latest issue of Livebearers. I recommend checking it out as there is a lot of good information.

Shipping is FREE and I guarantee that they will arrive alive, because you deserve to get what you pay for. I ship on Mondays, Tuesdays and very occasionally Wednesdays. I use Priority Mail with styrofoam, breather bags and heat packs. I you live real close and ground is one day, I will likely ship that way to get them to you faster.

I do not ship internationally. I have shipped to Hawaii, but buyer will have to provide all the necessary paperwork/import permits/etc. Please contact me before bidding from HI as buyer will pay actual cost to ship too HI.

If payment is received before the Monday following the close of auction, your fish will be shipping that Monday or Tuesday unless you tell me otherwise.

These fish are not difficult to care for. Mine live in Maryland tap water (pH 7.2ish) and are fed a variety of live and dry foods. Temps are seasonal and range from 70 to 80 throughout the year. They are currently being kept in tanks with with H Formosa and Blue Parrot Variatus. All my fish are born and raised in my tanks. I do not import my fish for re-sale.

I prefer Paypal (credit cards ok) but I will accept money orders as well. I will email you my paypal address after the auction.

Thank you for viewing my auction, I will do everything in my power to make sure its a good one for you and me
