Description

Zoogoneticus tequila- 2 pair. This is one of the rarest fish kept in the hobby, thought for over 40 years to be extinct in the wild, now known to be critically endangered. A very hardy goodeid, the males have a bright orange/yellow stripe in the tail. When in breeding color the male turns charcoal black, with that bright stripe in the tail as he courts the females. This can be seen in the video on the Z. tequila page at selectaquatics.com. They will have from 10-15 young approximately every 60 days, and it is best to remove the female to have her young separately. Shipping for a single order by Priority Mail is 15.00, overnight is dependent on P.O. rates- generally about 35.00, and extras are always sent to cover for any that may be lost in shipping.
