Hello folks! This auction is for 3 different species of wild livebearers I have been maintaining for quite a few years now. Win this auction and I will send you 6 Xiphophorus cortezi "Vinasco" (both sexes) a Trio of Xiphophorus montezumae (all I have) and 6 Phallichthys fairweatheri (both sexes) sometimes called "Dick fish", Picotee Livebearer, or even Elegant Widow. I am not making these names up folks honest! Anyway, I REALLY like those Xiphophorus cortezi "Vinasco" and they really end up looking awesome in a nice calm planted tank. Not only that they are not real aggressive fry eaters like many swordtails are. I also like those Phallichthys fairweatheri and my photo's of them are NOT really very good either. They also are not bad fry eaters. Those Xiphophorus montezumae are BRUTAL fry eaters and if you want to try to get those going I would HIGHLY recommended you either trap your females OR keep them in with a TON of Endlers and hope their fry somehow get mixed in with the endlers fry although I tend to think you plain old won't have any fry in a tank with those montezumae. By the way, those montezumae swordtails are the fish you sometimes see in books that develop swords that are SUPER long. I did have them breeding well when I was trapping the females but I have lost interest in this species and just want somebody else to give them a try at this point. I would also highly recommend you do NOT keep both species of these Swordtails in the same tank because I do think they will cross breed. This is a great opportunity to get 3 different species of fairly hard to find wild livebearers and obviously since I am selling the last of the Xiphophorus montezumae I have I will NOT be running this auction again. I WILL include a nice sized handful of HEALTHY floating plants with this auction along with some high quality foods for ALL these fish. I think those Vinasco swords would look GREAT in a tank with those Dick fish and if you add some floating plants to that tank I think you would get lots of fry surviving from both these species.
