Up for auction are 5 unsexed juvenile Japan Blue Guppies (random scoop)!. They are about 3/8 to 1/2 inch long, give or take. More are available at auction closing price. These are, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful wild type guppies around! Just look at the pictures below! This population is from the *original* population that is "supposed" to come from the heated electricity plant water discharge creek in Japan. That's the story anyway. They are supposed to have developed this blue coloration on their own without selective breeding. Either way, this particular population is extremely variable. The blues and reds can occur in any combination. There are no swords, one sword, double swords, colorful tails, long or short dorsal fins, stocky types, thinner types...really variable. There is tons of potential for the selective breeding enthusiast. I have NOT done any selective breeding with these guys, so you are getting the original variability of this wild type guppy.
Don't let this opportunity slip away...these guys aren't offered very often, especially not with females...although sometimes offered on aquabid (in various populations) they are extremely rare in the US. And even if they are offered it's really hard to find the original, unaltered population that has not gone through any selective breeding.
