Description

You are bidding on six young tank-raised 1.5 inch (plus or minus) long Wild Swordtail offspring. These Xiphophorus mayae are the offspring of wild grandparents. The parents of these fish (poor shot of the male in the photo) are owned by another member of the American Livebearer Association. They were given to me as fry last April at the ALA convention. The photo really does not do the fish justice. These fish are typically kept in cool (72-80F) hard (150-175 ppm) alkaline (pH7.0-7.6) water. The fish is omnivorous, and will require some vegetable in their diet. Live food is not required, but good water changes are essential. I keep them in a colony in a 15 gallon tank. Fish will be shipped in a small styro and in Breather Bags with Ammo Lock 2 to reduce ammonia in transit. A Heat pack will be supplied if requested (add $2). I cannot guarantee live delivery via Priority (about $16). Please use Express(about $31) if you must. Combine auctions to save on shipping. These shipping prices are AVERAGE PRICES for US delivery. I ship to the USA and have had success shipping to Japan via International Global Express, about $50. Sorry, because of Canadian Customs, I cannot ship to France or Canada, and CANNOT GUARANTEE live delivery when shipping to other countries. Help me out, I cannot move all the species I have and we are leaving for Florida within a week!
