6+2 ( or more) X. Helleri "yucatan peninsula" Swordtails
These are around a 1/2 inch.
These are a really colorful wild spotted swordtail, that does best with a small dither fish... like guppies or endlers. Seems to calm them down, and make them less skittish.
Males get the most color, Females are duller, but still have hints of the males colors...only paler, more subtle. Each fish a little differant... varying amount of spotts, brighter with one color over another, ect....
These seem to schoal, in large groups the fry actually school... which I think is really neat!!!

This can be a bit slow to get started... and grow out... but my originals are atleast 3 yrs old... are still acting like teenagers... I just had a HUGE drop over well over a hundred fry a couple weeks back... and since these are NOT avid fry hunters, I still have OVER a 100 fry from that drop... with just some floating plants, and some moss... nothing MAJOR... I just dont have the tank space to grow out all these... LOL, which is why I sell most of these YOUNG...
