Hello folks! This auction is for 8 Adult Poecilia gilli. You WILL get both sexes. These are the ONLY Mollies I currently have here in my fish room. These are a wild strain of fish AND they are excellent algae eaters. They also like to be kept in groups and WILL form a loose school in a community tank. I acquired these fish from Ken Combs, a fairly well known hobbyist/breeder from the Ohio area a little over a year ago. Or was it 2? Times flies when you are breeding livebearers! Ken heard I had a lot of tanks jammed full of plants and he got a hold of me told me he wanted to send me a wild strain of mollies and asked me to try to get this strain going in my fish room and all he asked of me is that once I do I sell some to try to get these a little better established in the hobby. And THAT'S what I am finally going to do! If you have LIVE PLANTS and ALGAE problems in your tanks these fish WILL eat that algae for you without eating ALL your plants at the same time. These are an ACTIVE schooling grazer and the Males tend to get along well together too. I have had no problems raising these in planted tanks and they are NOT really bad fry eaters. Adult fish while not super gaudy looking DO have a nice bluish sheen to them that I had a hard time capturing with my camera. I WILL send you a good amount of Veggie flakes to feed these fish. They also like any type of plant based diet and will also eat ALL types of flake fish food. I ALSO feed them a lot of canned green beans that they also seem to really like.
