Description

My friend picked them up at the 2011 ALA convention were they were being made available thru the ALA Species Maintenance Program; he is spawning and raising these fish. The information I received with these fish are as follows: The fish (original) was wild-caught in the Rio Caracor near the village of Linea Nueva in eastern Dominican Republic in February, 2010. The Caracor is thought to be a tributary of the San Juan River. Auction is for 2 adult pair which are already spawning and the females are caught. These are NOT stressed out, emaciated imported fish that just arrived in the USA and are ready to die! Only methods of shipping offered are USPS Express Shipping for a flat rate of $34.00 or UPS ground (less expensive) if ground delivery is no more that a 2 day delivery time from Pittsburgh PA 15236. (ground shipping may depend on weather...or heat I should say). Email me your zip code for a shipping time/quote.
