Ilyodon cortesae (Freckled Splitfin) pair OR 6 young juvies
Male
This auction is for 1 young proven pair or 6 juvies of Ilyodon cortesae.
These are a relatively newly discovered goodied and RARE in the hobby. They are really nice looking as can be seen in the pictures. Talk about subtle beauty! Love the metallic off-white/yellow pelvic fins. They really stand out. These are the best looking Ilydon species IMO
I obtained a trio from Rit Forcier (former ALA Chair) last year.
The pair are the offspring of the fish pictured.
These are very rare in the hobby and even rarer on aquabid. The first time they were recently offered by my friend Ron Davis (Bayviews) - vice chair of ALA.
I have very limited quatities of these guys and won't have more for quite a while.
I sold a small group last year and the person who bought these was very happy with them. Pics just can't do justice to these guys.
The pair (parents) The pair for sale looks just like the parents!
Payment and Shipping
Shipping is $15 via Priority shipping with live arrival guarantee on the fish AND shipping.
I think it's fair that it's my responsibility the fish arrive safetly to your door. So bid with confidence as there is no risk to you and you will get your money back (INCLUDING SHIPPING) if they dont make it alive. Just send me a picture of the dead fish in bag within 2 hours of arrival to your door. It's important that someone be at home to pick it up when the package arrives or the fish might not make it if left in the cold at the front door
I will be using breather bags to ship these.
They will be shipped on Monday or Tuesday after the auction ends (and after payment is received).
If you have questions feel free to e-mail me
