Description

You are bidding on one pair of tank-raised one inch (plus) long Limia perugia, a beautiful little livebearer. These fish are the offspring of wild grandparents. The ancestors of these fish were originally collected by a friend and fellow member of the ALA, Dominic Isla, on a visit to the island of Hispaniola in 1997. They were collected in Haiti. The photo, taken by my friend Ivan Dibble, shows the father who sports good color in the finnage. These fish are typically kept in cool (70-78F) non-soft (100-300 ppm) neutral-to-alkaline (pH7.0-7.8) water. The fish is omnivorous, and will require some vegetable in their diet. Live food is not required, but good water changes are essential. I keep them in a colony in a 20 gallon long tank and fry are not cannibalized if well fed and provided with shelter. Fish will be shipped in Styrofoam and in Breather Bags with Ammo Lock 2 to reduce ammonia in transit. A Heat pack ($2) will be supplied if requested. I cannot guarantee live delivery via Priority ($12). Please use Express($25) if you must. These shipping prices are ESTIMATED PRICES for US delivery. I ship to the USA and have had success shipping to Japan via International Global Express, about $50. Sorry, because of Customs Regulations, I cannot ship to Canada or France, and CANNOT GUARANTEE live delivery when shipping to other countries. Combine auctions and save on shipping! I am not a professional breeder, but folks tell me I do a good job at it. I have been exchanging fish via the American Livebearer Association for years, I just have extra right now! More available to the winning bidder.
