Description

Skiffia multipunctata is a beautiful and easy to keep Goodeid from Mexico. They are fairly easy to breed. Females give birth to fairly small groups of fairly large fry which can typically be left with the parents. Skiffia do well in unheated tanks and are sensitive to higher temperatures. They eagerly accept a variety of flake and frozen foods. Their diet should include a vegetable component. I give them spirulina flakes and thawed shelled peas. Photo shows an adult male from the breeding group. Males are highly variable in pattern. Females are typically a more uniform silver-grey. Males reach about 3 inches. Females get a little bigger. In this auction, you will receive 6 unsexed juveniles at about an inch in length. Like all of our fish, these guys are tank raised here and healthy. Shipping via USPS Priority mail will be $15, $35 if you prefer express shipping. Heat packs are included (if necessary)with either method. Live arrival is guarunteed with express mail only.
