Description

Micropoecilia CRM2006111601, �specie 2�, a new as yet to be identified Micropoecilia. Parents from the Reznick Lab at UC-Riverside. Collected by Marcelo Pires, in the Mearim River, near Arari in Maranhao, Brazil, Nov 16, 2006. Similar to M branneri and M minima but different and found in a different location. A very pretty Micropoecilia, females get about an inch with males a little smaller. Not an easy livebearer as adults and juveniles are hard on fry and females go on rest periods. Males get a top sword (flag) to their tails. First time on Aquabid. Extremely rare. Featured in an article in TFH by Rich Serva April 2010.............. Auction for mixed age, subadult-juv, starter colony of 7 ................. Fish will be Shipped on the Monday-Tuesday following �collected payment�. I use Clear Holdex, and either Double Bag or use Breather Bags to ensure a good shipping experience. Live arrival guaranteed on all overnight shipments (fish must be accepted on the first delivery attempt) with the immediate (4 hours after delivery) dig/pic emailed of the DOA fish.
