Description

Jenynsia lineata. �the one-sided livebearer� Jenynsia-Uruguay- probably the true J. lineata. From Embalse de Maldonado, Uruguay as collected by Jaap-Jan de Greef, who gave them to James K. Langhammer in late 1998. That may be Darwin�s type habitat for the fish described as Lebias lineata in 1842. This is Very different from the �J. lineata� kept early in the 1990�s. This is an easy beautiful fish to keep. A very pretty silver-pewter color with a bold clean pattern of broken black-brown horizontal stripes. Females are about 2 inches and males about one plus inch. Fish will be Shipped on the Monday-Tuesday following �collected payment�. I use Clear Holdex, and either Double Bag or use Breather Bags to ensure a good shipping experience. Live arrival guaranteed on all overnight shipments (fish must be accepted on the first delivery attempt) with the immediate (4 hours after delivery) dig/pic emailed of the DOA fish.
