Description

Cardinal Brachys are a beautiful wild type livebearer from Central America (Panama & Costa Rica). They are easy to keep and breed, but can be somewhat aggressive in the community tank. They do fairly well in small groups of their own and like a planted tank. They eagerly accept a variety of frozen and flake foods. Mature females can give birth to groups of 40 or more fry about every 30 days. Females get up to about 2.5 inches with males maxing out around 2 inches. Photo shows adult female and younger male. In this auction, you will receive 6 well started fry at about .75 inches. They are difficult to sex at this size, but with 6, you should get both males and females. Shipping via Priority mail is $15, $30 if you prefer express mail. Like all of our fish, these guys are tank raised and healthy.
