XIPHOPHORUS MEYERI

The Muzquiz Platy
Descendants of the Xiphophorus Genetic Stock Center collection

This is the rarely seen and more recently described Xiphophorus meyeri platyl, part of the Rio Grande complex of the Northern Platy Clade. They are:
� the most northern Xiph
� discovered in 1982 by Mexican scientists as X. marmoratus
� similar in all ways to X. couchianus, but polymorphic.
They flock breed well for me in a 10G tank. Provide hiding places and plants, including Java Moss at the bottom to maximize fry yields.

DETAILS:. The lot is 6 juveniles. Young fish ship better (less waste in the water) and adjust to your water conditions much better. My fish are shipped with TLC: double-bagged with Amquel, Poly-Filter, and Bag Buddy in a Styrofoam box inside a Cardboard Box.
