Description

Xiphophorus alvarezi, the Rio Dolores strain, this is the RED FORM, These fish originally came from the Xiphophorus Genetic Stock Center in Texas. The auction is for seven juveniles about 3/4 inch. The common name for this sword is the Upland Swordtail. They are a quite pretty fish with a rose colored body with red horizontal stripes, rose color dorsal with many red spots and a yellow sword which is thickly edged in black. My photo did not pick this up well at all. This is an easily maintained and rare in the hobby. Fish will be Shipped on the Monday-Tuesday following collected payment.
