Description

A young trio of Xiphophorus montezumae from El Quince Mexico 2008.The picture is of a wild caught male from this location. The colouration varies from a fish with no black to fish that have 50% black,the yellow on the fins of the males is only on larger older fish and then not all of them. Ths sword is what you would expect from montys at least equal to its body length. They are flock bred in a 26 US Gallon tank planted with Vallis, Java Moss and Duckweed.
