Description

What you are getting:
Hello folks! The winner of this auction will receive 10 RREA swordtails! The swordtails in the pictures are the EXACT snails you will be receiving. You will receive a trio (1m/2f) and 7 juveniles around 1� in size. The trio will kick out short fin and cauliflower. I�ve been getting around 25% cauliflower and 75% short fin with this line. The 2 females you are getting have been in a tank for 2 weeks with one of my cauliflower males. They should be dropping fry in the next 30 days or so. The 7 juveniles were born in my fish room and look like 6 short fin and 1 cauliflower. The first two pictures are of the juveniles. Even though the juveniles are young they will continue to get a darker red as they mature, you can already see the nice coloring of these rascals. The third picture are of the two females, which are beautiful and healthy as can be. The fourth picture is of the male. The male in the trio is just starting to show his tail. It will grow out over the coming months. I�ll also include some of the food I use to feed my tanks of RREA�s. In my opinion the RREA is one of the best looking swordtails out there. A few weeks ago I went to the best LFS in the area and was trying to find something as good or better than the RREA but no luck�so I ended up getting some Purple Pencilfish 😊

Snail care:
I keep my RREA�s in their own dedicated tanks. They like neutral to hard water and are easy to take care of if you have good water quality. I do weekly water changes and use prime. I feed them a variety of foods, but their primary diet is some quality flake foods and pellets. Temps are 74 � 78. If you are trying to get fry from the RREA�s, ensure to have a solid set-up for the fry to hide in and get the adult(s) out of the fry tank asap, as the RREA�s are bad about eating their fry.

Shipping:
I will be shipping via UPS ground or UPS 3 Day Select to the upper 48 states. I will not ship to Alaska or Hawaii. If I ship out on Monday via UPS ground and they arrive on Thursday or earlier then we are good. If I ship out on Monday and the expected arrival is Friday or later then I will ship them via UPS 3 Day Select. Please check UPS�s web site from my zip code of 66071. Shipping and packing materials are a flat rate of $25 for UPS ground and $45 for UPS 3 Day Select. This includes an insulated box and a heat pack(s) as needed. I ship out on a Monday or Tuesday weather permitting. I will email letting you know the tracking number.
