Hello folks! Happy February! This offering is for a total of 8 Adult Swordtails! You will receive 3 strains including the albino gene plus the lyretail gene. I took the time to photograph all 8 actual fish you will receive. Here's what this box is all about. You will receive a Reverse Trio of some uniquely marked Taisho sanke Swordtails that are almost 14 Months old. The Black and White Male just sexed out over the last 6 weeks or so and for the last year I actually thought he was a Female. I call these late bloomers "Super Males" and they usually end up very large. He also has some awesome solid Black markings on him along with a pink nose. I could have easily culled him out when he was you but I thought he was a Female and I wanted to see how it was going to end up and I am glad I did! These fish should breed true and if you want to see what that strain normally looks like go HERE HERE and take a look around. I am also going to send you a Young Pr. of Albino Kohaku Koi. This Pr. is young and are only about 6 Months old. They ARE a Male and Female and they are just hitting breeding age. I think the Female is actually pre-hit now but like I said they are just hitting spawning age. Lastly, I am including the Trio of Red tux Lyretails you can see below. I originally bought this strain cuz they were supposed to be "King Swordtails" but I obviously was ripped off cuz the Male has not developed a lyretail so I am just calling them Red tux Lyretails. King Swordtails are a Lyretail Sword strain and the Males are supposed to develop a Lyretail yet still have a normal sized functional gonopodium for breeding. Well, this Male ended up having a normal sized functional gonopodium for breeding but he is certainly lacking the Lyretail. On the other hand, both these Females are really developing into VERY NICE Lyretail Swords so it's not like I got ripped off all that badly! These fish are also young and just about 9 Months old. Both Females are pre-hit. Let me know if any Males you raise end up being Lyretails with normal sized functional gonopodiums for breeding cuz maybe I will buy some back from you! You could also let your hair down and cross either one of the Male Taisho sanke Swords OR The Male Albino Koi with these Female Lyretails and see what kind of drops they produce for you.
