Description

This auction is for 8 healthy red eyed high fin swordtails, measuring 1 inch, born and raised with love in my home. These are about 2 months old, too young to tell male from female, but with 8 fish you will probably get at least one of each gender, and they will breed in another 6 months. Photos below are my actual fish. This swordtail breed is a beautiful variant with an oversized high fin and striking red eyes. Since red eyes are a recessive gene, all these fish will breed true, producing 100% red eyed babies. They will not produce any black eyed babies unless you mate them with other black eyed fish. High fin is a dominant gene, which means these fish will produce high fin babies in 75%-100% of the time.


LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEED. USPS Priority mail shipping is $12 which will include styrofoam insulation, heat pack(s), and breather bags. Payment must be made within 24 hours of auction close. If no payment is received within 24 hours of auction close, the items will be put back up for sale and a breach of sale will be reported to Aquabid. The digestive system of the fish will be cleared for 2 days AFTER payment is received, in order to keep their shipping water clean. The fish will be shipped within 3 days after payment is received, however the fish will NOT be shipped on a Thursday or Friday in order to prevent the package from sitting idle in the post office on Sunday. In the rare event of fish death, please send clear photo of dead fish inside unopened bag within 1 hour of first delivery attempt.
