Description

This auction is for 4 healthy red eyed high fin swordtails, measuring 1 inch, born and raised with love in my home. These are 2 months old, too young to tell male from female, but with 4 fish you will probably get at least one of each gender. Photos below are my actual fish. These are 2 months old and will breed in another 3-4 months. This swordtail breed is a beautiful variant with an oversized high fin and striking red eyes.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEED. USPS Priority mail shipping is $12 which will include styrofoam insulation, heat pack(s), and breather bags. The digestive system of the fish will be cleared on Sunday and Monday to keep their shipping water clean, in preparation for Tuesday shipment. Payment must be made within 24 hours of auction close. If no payment is received within 24 hours of auction close, the items will be put back up for sale and a breach of sale will be reported to Aquabid. In the rare event of fish death, please send clear photo of dead fish inside unopened bag within 1 hour of first delivery attempt.

Somebody asked me if these fish will produce 100% RREA fry. The answer is yes. Albino is a recessive gene, so the fact that these fish have red eyes means that they do NOT carry any black eyed genes. 100% of fry from these fish will have red eyes. Thes fish will NOT produce any black-eyed fry unless you mate them with other fish that have black eyed genes.

I just wanted to update everyone that there is a severe storm watch in my area, zip code 08820. We are expecting 14+ inches of snow between January 26-27. I will honor everything that has been promised in this auction, but if the roads are closed and flights are grounded, it may be safer to ship the fish at a later date. I will discuss the matter with whoever wins the auction.
