Description

Xiphophorus alvarezi Gold, 2 pair- Being offered for sale for the first time, this is not a cross or a hybrid, and was carefully developed through 6 years of selective breeding from natural mutations of the wild X. alvarezi. A stunning fish, it breeds true, and the males become a bright orange/red as they mature. This is a robust swordtail with a long, fully natural sword, a beautiful fish that will drop 20-30 young after a 30 day gestation, that are large enough to take baby brine shrimp.
