Happy Thursday!
This offering is for the 11 Red Eye Swordtails you can see below.
There are 2 Pr's. of Albino Pineapples plus a Male RREA (Real Red Eye Albino) and 6 Females including both RREA's and Albino Koi Swords. All the Swordtails below were photographed TODAY and they ARE the actual fish you will receive. The RREA's and the Albino Koi Swords are VERY DEEP RED fish.
I am also pretty sure ALL these swordtails are fully sexed out although it is possible one or 2 of those RREA's or Albino Koi Females could change into a Male down the road. Both Female Albino Pineapples are pre-hit so they aren't changing into anything other than mothers.
I ENJOY breeding Albino Swordtails and if you have never messed with them you outta give them a try. You can keep the Albino strains pure or you can cross them into standard non albino fish and you will always get some albinos back out of the second generation of fish afterwords. What that means is if you breed one of the Albino Males below to a non albino female Swordtail you will get all non albino fry out of her BUT if you then breed those fry together you WILL immediately start seeing some Albino fry in your drops.
Don't be afraid to mess with stuff like this folks. It's what keeps the hobby interesting and that's why we all bought aquariums in the first place, cuz we found them to be interesting.
I am also going to send you a small group of NICE Orchid endlers with this auction. You will receive at least 6 of them and I will make sure you receive BOTH SEXES so you can get those going too.
I like keeping a few Endlers in with my Swordtails. It seems to help prevent my Males from fighting and CAN help keep your adult Swordtails from eating their own fry BUT I'll tell you right now if you don't trap Albino Swordtails the odds on a lot of fry surviving are VERY LOW.
All the fish I am offering in this auction are just now entering the prime of their lives and just now maturing and starting to breed. You should have YEARS of drops ahead of you with these fish.
I will also include some HIGH QUALITY foods with this auction.
Lastly, now that the weather is improving I am going to start adding some floating plants to some of the livebearer auctions again. There's not enough room for that when I am burning lots of multiple heat packs.
I WILL include a small amount of floating plants with this offering, I don't know what kind I will pick but whatever I choose will be HEALTHY!
