Shipping

Buyer pays actual shipping charges. Local pickup is also an option depending on when said pickup can be scheduled with us.

Sunset Tropical Guppies will guarantee live arrival with shipments through Spee-Dee Delivery (Shipment through Spee-Dee typically takes anywhere from 1-3 days depending on final destination). Package delivery through Spee-Dee can only be made within the following states: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and the St. Louis area.

 For buyers outside the region we would suggest USPS Express or another such insured package delivery service that you are comfortable working with, which we will also guarantee live arrival for.

Due to increased unreliability of timed package delivery we cannot recommend using USPS Priority to ship to our customers. Sunset Tropical Guppies will still ship USPS Priority if our customers wish, but in doing so we consider our live arrival guarantee null and void.

All aquatic livestock will be fasted for 48 hours before the shipping process begins. The water we ship in will contain an ammonia neutralizer and your bag(s) will be pumped with pure oxygen to insure the safe arrival of your order. Heat/Cold packs will be added to shipments when necessary. Sunset Tropical Guppies will not ship in above 100 or below zero degree weather. We do this to not only protect ourselves, but also our customer's best interests. We would rather see your purchase arrive safe and sound to it's destination than to try to rush a package out in less than ideal conditions.

All live arrival guarantees will only be honored if an image of the unopened bag containing the DOA's is emailed to Sunset Tropical Guppies within the first hour of after the package has been delivered (this must be during the first delivery attempt only). The buyer will be paying all subsequent shipping charges in the event of DOA livestock. Sunset Tropical Guppies will replace only the DOA livestock at our expense.
