Starter Colony of 10 Young Adult Blue Swordtails.
You will receive a good mix of males and females all over two inches in size. Your fish will be selected from the colony in the video below. This is a old legacy strain that has been in the hobby for atleast 2 decades. They are a very large swordtail when fully grown - Females easily reaching 4 inches. A large percentage of the fry start off reddish brick in color then change as they mature. Notice the reddish brick fry in about the middle of the video. These are a grey bodied swordtails. Their reflective body striping is blue and they have a predominantly black sword. I am a hobbyist and these fish are raised in my fishroom. Shipping Policies Below Video. What will you receive in the Mail Beautiful, Healthy Fish in a Flat Rate Priority Box properly sized for the fish you have purchased. The box will be styrofoam lined - heat pack/packs if needed. I will use breather bags if appropriate for the type of fish being sent. If breather bags are inappropriate (ie. fish with spines or teeth), the fish will be double bagged in poly bags.
