Hello folks! I think I'm going to run a couple more auctions this weekend. I have a TON of fish down in the fish room so it's probably a good idea to move some more out this week. Ever hear this tune folks? I heard it for the first time today at the old fish building and I liked it so much I suggested we just put it on repeat for a couple hours. The guys I work with didn't seem to mind and we had that whole building rocking. I sure wish all you folks lived closer to Kenmore NY it would save on a lot of work for me that's for sure. Anyway, I sold "stuff" there until 6 PM and then headed over to The Platy Guys house to score some Red tailed Blue Platys for one of my customers that's been wanting some for at least a year now. I kept telling her I didn't know what those were and she must mean Red Tailed Blue Variatus but she kept insisting that they were PLATYS and she had gotten some FROM ME in the past. On March 31st I was hanging out in The Platy Guys fish room and I looked over at one of his old 50 breeders and low and behold there they were! A whole tank full of Red Tailed Blue PLATYS. I must have gotten that customer those fish in my drinking days cuz I bet I told her at least half a dozen times she didn't get them from me. Want to see what they look like? Here I'll show you- See? She was RIGHT. There ARE Red Tailed Blue PLATYS (not Variatus). Sorry Melissa, I should have listened to you and figured out what you were talking about. Anyway, I picked some of those up and a few other "things" and headed home and when I got here I had 3 LARGE boxes of fish sitting on my packing bench in the fish room courtesy of my mail lady. I gotta remember to get her another gallon of Maple Syrup this spring again. I get the Maple syrup from the same guy I get all those Chinese Livebearing Trap Door snails from all Summer long. I sure know a lot of fish folks in this hobby. Maybe I outta try auctioning off some of John's Maple Syrup with his Trap door Snails?? What a waxed way of making a living this is. THIS auction is for those 3 Pr's of Hifin Platys I got back on March 31st the same evening I "discovered" Melissa's Platys actually existed. I took ALL the photo's of those Platys last night. I couldn't stop taking them cuz I had everything all set up and for some reason everything was just clicking and I knew every damn photo I was taking was going to turn out HOT so I just kept clicking away. Ask anyone who takes a lot of photo's of fish. THAT doesn't happen every time. Take a CLOSE look at those Hifin Platys. I don't think you will find any higher quality fish than those are. They DID breed true but you may have to clean them out if you win them cuz I have had them together now in the same tank since March 31st. I just didn't have any tank space to keep them separated but I DO know they were breeding true cuz The Platy Guy told me they were AND I got a drop out of one of those Hifin Calico Yellow fish and ALL my fry are Calico Yellows. You are bidding on ALL THREE Pr's of those fish. Before you pass them up take a CLOSE LOOK at all those Photo's below. If you do that I bet you end up placing a bid on them,. Hell, you will have to cuz you will know how PERFECT those 3 Pr's. really are. I ALSO have another 20 long FULL of RREA's, Hifin Red Wag Sword that could also develop into NICE Sailfins cuz they were dropped from an AWESOME Sailfin Pr. and I also have a bunch of asst Hifin Swords in this tank and ALL of those were dropped by AWESOME Sailfin Pr's too. Sailfins need to have BRANCHED Dorsal fins and the fish I have are TOO small to tell what they will develop into right now that's why I can't sell them as Sailfins. Did you know that?
