These are some of the young Lyretails. Holy smokes folks! I packed fish ALL DAY today and now I have 47 new E Mails to read since I last checked them. I will get to them either LATER tonight or first thing in the morning. It's Saturday night, whatever it is can wait till morning now. This auction is for all kinds of Red tux Swords. Most of them are YOUNG so don't get too intimidated by that. As some of you know, I have been screwing around with Red tux swords for quite a while now and NOW I want to MOVE the damn things cuz too many fish in my tanks means I don't have any room to buy new fish and I don't have any MONEY in my pockets either. If YOU want to mess around with Red tux swords THIS is the auction for you. ALL these fish are HEALTHY and they are ALL 100% cancer free. Here's what you are bidding on. 1 Adult Semi Lyretail Male that can breed and has impregnated females already, in other words he is fertile and functional. One Large Female Lyretail that is a free bee cuz she is old and I was surprised she actually reconditioned and is once again filling up with fry. I don't think she will be breeding too much longer. She is the only fish out of this entire box that wasn't born in my fish room. 8 Nice young Lyretails that are going to finish NICE, I know that because I already sold an older generation of these and those were very nice. 9 Regular non Lyretail unsexed fish and lastly 3 100% River 11's Red tux one which is developing some type of cool looking dorsal fin which I am not calling a sailfin or a hifin, raise that fish up yourself and tell me how he turns out. All of these fish except that old female have been crossed and have some River11 genetics in them. I did that to try to redden them up and because I am nuts. In total you will receive 22 fish but REMEMBER most of them are YOUNG (not fry). After I photographed them all I put them all in a 20 long and they are not crowded right now. You WILL need to start separating Males out soon though because that big Semi Lyretail Male rules this group and once young Males start maturing he will go after them. I will send you some HIGH QUALITY foods with this auction and I would suggest you use those foods to help keep all these fish as red as possible. Interestingly enough I also got some solid Orange/Red fish out of all this crossing and I will be posting all those shortly too. I don't think those Orange/Red fish are going to breed true so if this auction is too big for you I think you could get Red tux out of their fry too. All the photo's below are fish that are included in this auction. I was sort of rushing when I took them so they are not quiet as nice as the ones I like to take when I have more time to spend on them. Sorry about that, I have been very busy lately. Too busy.
