Hello folks! This auction is for some of the BEST quality Swordtails obtainable. In fact, if you had any idea how much time and effort has gone into getting this strain off the ground you would surely think we were out of our minds. This auction is for a total of 8 Swordtails. All of these Swordtails are from the SAME parents. You will get a Male Blood Red Sailfin along with a female Blood Red Sailfin. You will ALSO get a young Female RREA Sailfin. Next you will get a TRIO of Blood Red's. Lastly you will get 2 more extra Female Blood Reds. These fish are ALL young BUT they HAVE sexed out. The Male Sailfin is a Blood Red Twinbar and the rest of the fish are wagtails except for the RREA. Not only that they are ALL virgins OR were less than a week ago before I put them all together. These fish ALL have PERFECT color AND perfect fin rays. You WILL also receive a YOUNG trio of HIGH QUALITY Guppies with this auction. NOT because we are nice guys or we are trying to stuff the box with "stuff", because having Guppies breeding in the same tank will HELP you to train these Swordtails to NOT chomp down their own fry as soon as they drop them. YOU WILL receive 2 ounces of "Lotsoffish mix #2" fish food with this auction. USE IT. It will help you to keep these fish DEEP RED right through to adulthood AND will keep these fish growing at a nice healthy rate. We also highly recommend you use a glass bottom tank with these fish. It will help you to keep their tank CLEAN and food and fry will not get caught in the gravel where it is hard for you to remove and the fry are also hard to catch. It will be more difficult to tell when your females are going to drop fry than it normally is with Swordtails because it is very difficult to SEE the gravid spot on this strain through the deep red color of the fish so you WILL end up missing drops and that's why you should make it easy on yourself and keep GUPPIES in with them AND keep a bare bottom in the tank. I also recommend you keep a floating trap in this tank and you keep newborn fry right in the trap in plain site of your adults. That will ALSO teach your adults to ignore fry instead of chasing them down and EATING them. We do NOT guarantee this strain will breed true. We DO guarantee this strain WILL produce more Sailfins. You MAY also get Orange blossoms, RREA's, Red tux, Gold tux, Blood Reds, Blood Red wags AND Blood Red Twinbars. We suspect you may get some Twinbars in possibly all of the above mentioned color varieties.
