Description

Hi I got all excited about these guys when I first saw them. I got a pair of an outcross, and have been working to recover the "see through" guppies. While these aren't the full blown "see throughs" that Philip Shaddock released, they are almost there. These guys have the glass belly gene and are homozygous blau which means that you can see all their internal organs and they will have the black/gray/blue cast in their finnage. If you cross a blau guppy to almost any red guppy, all the offspring will be blue. Anyway... These fish are pretty awesome. As you can see from the pic, little is hidden especially on the females where you can see the fry developing! This female has already dropped once. She will have a mix of glass belly and some not glass belly fry and albinos as she's been with an albino male along with the mate offered in the auction. These are fun to watch, especially since you can watch the fry develop from eggs and there isn't as much guess on when the fry will drop! Shipping can be by priority now with the warmer weather. I use an insulated flat rate box shipped on the Monday following receipt of payment. Shipping will be $10.95. I can add a heat pack for $2.00. Please let me know if you have any questions!
