Description

HOWDY from Sunny San Leon, TEXAS, where everything is bigger and better, including the fish.

This auction is for 6 juvenile Red-top Blue Mickey Mouse platies directly descended from Lotsoffish stock. Here's a link to the auction where I bought the parents. Mixed Platy Auction Pete recently offered similar fish in this auction.Recent Blue Platy Auction Compare the photos of his fish to mine below. Except for the fact that Pete is a better photographer than me, the fish look remarkably similar. That's to be expected because they are all the same strain and eat the same foods (LOF Mix #2). The main difference is that mine probably cost half as much as those raised in New York. And my fish might have developed Texas attitude and accent - which is a bonus in my part of the world.

Notice that some of my youngsters (photos 2 & 3) have a dark bar on their blue sides. I think it's kinda interesting, but if you want the solid blue variety shown in photos 1 and 4, I'll send only those. Otherwise, you'll get a mix.

Because the parents of these fish came from Pete, the offspring inherited the "Free Shipping" gene. Priority mail shipping is free and will include an insulated box, Kordon bags, and Ready Water. If you live in the Frozen Northlands, I'll add a 72-hour heat pack and wait for warm temps to ship. As long as the Post Office says priority mail will reach your zip code from mine (77518) within 2 days, you have an unconditional live-arrival guarantee. If delivery will take longer, we need to make better arrangements for the safety of the fish. In the event something goes wrong, I'll replace your money or fish at my expense. You don't need a lawyer to understand those terms.

Expect 2 or 3 extra fish of the same type as in the auction for shipping insurance. They will probably all arrive just fine. Better to let you know in advance what's coming so there's space available.
