Hello folks!
I have been keeping fish for well over 40 years and the fish you are looking at below are the absolute best quality, most rewarding strain of livebearers I have ever kept. I have literally raised at least 500 of these Platys and have yet to CULL ONE fish. They are a joy to breed, a joy to watch, and a joy to photograph. In fact they are SO NICE the reason I don't offer many here at AquaBid is because I very seldom have any extras that last long enough to even make it to auction.
The fish you are bidding on were raised by Ol' Conrad and that outta tell you something right there. Getting him interested in anything except Guppies or Killie's is no easy feat and the day I asked him if he wanted to work with some of these he acted like he won the power ball lottery or something.
These fish breed 100 percent true but they will not throw 100 percent Hifin Gold Wag Bleeding Hearts. They will also throw Gold Bleeding Hearts and Gold Comet Bleeding Hearts in both standard and Hifin varieties also which makes them even cooler! I have also gotten one single Hifin Red Bleeding Heart Platy out of these fish that the Platy guy says in a natural mutation since, according to him, Gold Platys can not carry a red gene.
You are bidding on 2 young adult Trio's of these awesome livebearers and you WILL receive ALL Hifin Gold Wag Bleeding Hearts.
They will look JUST like the fish below AND they will carry their fins just like the fish below do. These fish DO NOT swim around with their fins down looking clamped up all the time. They strut their stuff like they know they are something special.
I will include some high quality foods with these fish and BID HIGH on these 6 fish cuz these are the first one's that Ol' Conrad has bred and offered for auction and I don't want to disappoint him cuz I keep trying to talk him in to maintaining some more non guppy livebearers and other than these fish and the Orange Blossom Swordtails I talked him in to trying he's a tough nut to crack!
