Hello Folks. This auction is for some very interesting Swordtails that I sorta created accidentally. I had a tank full of very young RREA Swordtails with a couple very young Green swordtails in it too. As the Months went by I just kept feeding them, waiting for them to mature and eventually when I decided I better split them up before one of those Male green swordtails got my Female RREA's pregnant I obviously waited too long cuz shortly afterwords I trapped a couple females that were obviously ready to give me a drop and the fry looked like the fish you can see below. LOL! About a week after I got my first drop I checked out the fry closely and sure enough they had BLACK eye's. This might seem like it was a "disaster" to you folks but I usually roll with those type of issues pretty well and I ended up raising about 25 or so of these fry to the size they are at now. You are bidding on 8 of these cool little Swordtails PLUS I will also send you 3 Pr's. of the Japanese turquoise grass guppies below. I am sending you those guppies just so you have another livebearer you can keep in with these Swordtails so you will actually have 2 types of livebearers that can NOT cross with each other dropping fry in the same tank. Lastily, since none of these Swordtails are old enough to spawn yet (they are close, I would estimate they are 12 weeks away from breeding) and I have not seen any of their fry yet I really am not positive what they are going to throw BUT I am thinking they are going to end up throwing a pretty good percentage of Albino fish and who knows, they may even throw Albino Green swordtails AND albino RRE'a too???? Another words these are kind of a crap shoot right now, but most of the time when I am swimming in uncharted waters like this, things end up working out pretty well for me. Another thing to keep in mind is the Green swords that crossed with the female RREA's were the heavily spotted ones so that adds another element to the puzzle. Lastly, don't judge those Grass guppies by my photo's. Those have a lot of metallic blue/green in them and I am AWEFUL when it comes to photographing metallic fish. To sum up, you are bidding on 8 of those young Green/RREA crossed Swordtails along with 3 Pr's of NICE Japanese Turquoise grass guppies.
