I have a treat for you folks, today. I need some money for the holidays, so I am posting for sale an adult breeding pair of my first class blue flame swordtails. They are each 4 inches in length, and fantastic breeders. Groups of fry from this line have gone for over $100, so I expect there will be quite a bit of competition for this pair, but be forewarned, only the winner will be able to purchase anything. I have no other adult pairs to sell over email, and no juveniles to offer at this time. This pair is the pair shown, and I have included a shot of a typical juvenile from them shown at the bottom of the auction. They both have a very small amount of red in them, as you can see, but the majority of the fry they produce are entirely blue, and color up especially early, not to mention the superior health, vigor, and sword development of my Blue line.

Let me tell you why my blues are the best strain on the market. Mine have been outcrossed with wild swordtails from the Blue Golden Creek and Yucatan Penninsula lines. I will explain why. First, I will start by explaining that blue swordtails, while beautiful, are a newly developed hybrid strain. Because of this, there is a wide range of genetic variability among them, most notably the fact that they throw red swordtails. In addition, some of the other strains have been inbred to a degree, and as such are more susceptible to diseases and short lifespan. In addition, because of the more recent hybridization, many other blue strains can throw males with little to no sword. The outcross to wild swords ensures both verility, strong immunity, and absolutely beautiful swords in adult males. I promise you will be astounded with how gorgeous these guys are when they grow up.

So, down to the nitty gritty. Shipping is $12 for priority. This is the last lot of my blue line that I will be auctioning off for quite some time, and will be keeping all the rest of my blue stock for breeding, so I highly recommend that you buy now.
