Description

Up for auction are 4 pairs (8 fish) of My Blue Flame Swordtails. These are young and healthy fish and frankly, probably the most active fish in my fishroom. See the groups in the slideshow below. They are in a frenzy at the front of the tank and do this everytime I walk into the room. They practically climb on each other to be first in line at the front of the tank.

These blue flame swordtails often develop red on top of the blue/grey body. Not all of my fish have developed the red, a few are solid blue/grey. I will make sure I include a nice mix ranging from a fish with little or no red to one like the red one pictured in the slideshow.

About the blue, it is a blue sheen. It shows up under lighting and when the fish are happy. This is not specific to my fish but most blue swordtails. For those new to blue swordtails, do not think you are getting a blue swordtail that looks like an electric bule dempsey. That does not exist as far as I have ever seen.

These are fertile fish and most if not all the females will be in various stages of pregnancy. These fish live in Maryland (NOT DC, Yuck!) tap water (pH 7.2ish) and are fed a variety of live and dry foods. All my fish are born and raised in my tanks.

Shipping is Free and I guarantee that they will arrive alive. I often send a few extra and will likely do so here. I ship on Mondays, Tuesdays and sometimes Wednesdays via Priority mail.

I do not ship internationally. I have shipped to Hawaii, but buyer will have to provide all the necessary paperwork/import permits/Plane Fare/Warriors tickets (lower Level)/etc. Please contact me before bidding from HI.

I prefer Paypal (credit cards ok) but I will gladly accept money orders as well.

The pictures in the slideshow were taken the day before the auction posted. The group pictures were done in the tank with a flash. The solo picture was done in a small container without the flash.
