OK folks, pay attention to this description because I am going to offer you 2 Trios of VERY NICE of very fancy Platys I have been sitting on for quite a while. I am ALSO going to offer you a Guppy/Endler cross that YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE IF YOU DON'T WANT THEM. The only reason I am even offering them is they are in the same tank as these Platys AND it is going to be very interesting seeing what these fish are going to start throwing. First let me tell you about this strain of Platys. I originally got these Platys from the same guy I get most of my high end Platys from. He imported a bunch of them from Malaysia and at the time didn't know if they would breed true or not. I talked him out of 6 of them and actually eventually got 6 more of them from him too. That means I had 12 of these fish total (plus some fry that were born here, I am NOT selling at this time). THIS IS THE LAST 6 OF THEM. He imported these as "Red Top Blue Mickey Mouse" Platys but seeing he hadn't bred them himself yet he couldn't guarantee they would breed true, but since I like to take risks plus I always sorta figure "who cares, maybe they will pop out something even more interesting for me" I got some from the guy anyway. LOL! So far I have seen 2 drops from the females and so far they are breeding true. That does not necessarily mean when I breed these fry together they will continue to breed true but it is a very good indication that they will. Look, none of us are Genetic scientists here and I am not going to start boring you with a bunch of formulas I barely can understand myself so what I am trying to say is it is at this point is is highly likely these Platys WILL continue to breed true. That said, go take a look at my photo's of the original adults I got from the guy. Pretty nice hu? The cool thing is they look even NICER now and I actually have BETTER photo's of them but I haven't uploaded them to photo bucket yet because I have been BUSY so you can't see them yet. LOL! Another COOL thing I found out about these Platys is somewhere along the lines someone crossed Variatus in to them. You know how I know that? Because the fry have a striped pattern to them. That striped pattern will fade soon though and then it will be invisible. So now you just learned something very interesting about Platys didn't you? You learned if you breed some Platys in the future and your fry have a vertical striped pattern that fades away as they grow they have some Variatus in them too. See folks? Read my auctions and I will teach you all sorts of useless facts regarding this hobby! LOL! So you are bidding on 2 NICE Trio's of "Red Top Blue Mickey Mouse" Platys. The same strain you see in my photo's below. Next, and here is where you can decline to get these fish if you want, I am going to offer you some fish I screwed up because I made a mistake a while back. Sometime about 2 Months a go while I was busy packing out boxes I accidentally pored a container of Tiger endlers in to a tank full of Green Moscow Guppies I had going. At the time the tank was jammed full of plants, had a lot of Yellow shrimp of all sizes in it, and it would have been way too hard to tear down and sort all the Tiger endlers back out of the tank so I just said "screw it", I will deal with this later and I kept packing. Well, this is later. At this point the females in this tank are popping out cross breeds and the only fish I know that are still pure genetically, in this tank, are a few Male Green Moscow's and a few Male Tiger endlers. All the females have been cross bred by now and all the fry are going to develop in to something new nobody has ever seen before. These are the fish I am also offering in this auction. If you want some of this cross I will send you some along with these NICE Platys and you can raise some up to see what the hell they are going to look like. They might be total crap OR they might be totally awesome. Who the heck knows what happens when some moron like me accidentally crosses a bunch of Tiger endlers with a bunch of Green Moscow guppies? Not me, that's for sure. I am going to find out soon enough though and so can you if you decide to take some from me if you win this auction. Oh and lastly I am going to toss a bunch of NICE floating plants AND some snails in to this box. I have a lot of plants and a lot of snails in this tank so it only makes sense to ship some of that stuff too! Also, I am going to send you some TOP QUALITY foods to feed all this stuff after you receive this box. Wow, why can't I just run NORMAL auctions so I don't have to do all this damn typing all the damn time? LOL! To sum up.
