Simpsonichthys zonatus 'Garapuava'

In this USD auction we offer 50 handpicked eggs in peat.

This species has fallen victim to agriculture in its native locality 'Garapuava' and since then has been preserved by only a few aquarists before its final extinction. This species is therefore absolutely dependent on killifishfriends as well as other interested ones!

According to own experience these killifish reaches a maximum length of 5 cm and can be kept in pairs or trios in a 12-litre tank. The eggs require a development period of at least 2 months. Watering the eggs with clean rainwater, the juveniles will hatch after 1 to 3 hours and eat from the beginning freshly hatched artemia-nauplii.

We guarantee fertile eggs and a correct packaging. To protect the eggs against short-term cold, we ship the eggs, wrapped in alternating layers of bubble wrap and aluminium foil, in a strong cardboard box. But we can't be responsible for hatching rate, sex-ratio, possible belly-sliders, dissolved eggs on arrival, overheating or undercooling, customs issues, damage to packaging and unexpected problems during transport e.g. hesitations.

The buyer pays the shipping costs of $ 8.00 (~8,00 �) for a shipment with tracking and 5% of the total price when payment is processed via PayPal.
